Mytek Audio has unveiled its latest innovation, the Empire Stereo Monoblocks GanFET Amplifiers, at the prestigious Munich High End Show. Engineered to complement the flagship Empire Streamer DAC, these monoblocks represent a fusion of cutting-edge design and uncompromising sonic performance.

Encased in a carefully crafted chassis milled from a single block of aluminum, the Empire Stereo Monoblocks boast a sleek and minimalist aesthetic, perfectly aligned with Mytek's commitment to both form and function. Their versatile design allows for setup as either a stereo single amp or dual mono blocks, providing flexibility to suit various audio configurations.

At the heart of these amplifiers lies the revolutionary Class D GanFET technology, featuring Gallium Nitride transistors that offer up to 30 times faster performance than traditional silicon MosFETs.

This breakthrough technology eliminates the limitations of conventional Class D designs, delivering a significantly expanded soundstage, along with a warm, tube-like midrange and top-end, while maintaining precise bass control and transient response.

Moreover, the Empire Monoblocks feature a distinctive "Mytek Tube" visual effect, symbolizing the amp's sonic qualities, while offering an alternative minimalist design with an included aluminum cover sans the tube.

The Empire Stereo Monoblocks exhibit a triode-like behavior in their output stage transfer characteristic, thanks to the reduced distortion resulting from transistor switching. This results in a silky top end, exquisite midrange detail, and a three-dimensional soundstage reminiscent of the finest tube amplifiers, coupled with the dynamic control of large transistor amplifiers.

These monoblocks offer versatile operation modes, including stereo (2x400W/4Ω or 2x200W/8Ω), mono biamp, and mono bridge, catering to diverse system configurations and preferences. Equipped with a robust 800W toroidal power supply featuring automatic voltage detection and protection circuitry, these amplifiers provide both reliability and performance.
